Chug-a-chug-a-chug-a...
Still chugging along...
38) Jimmy Eat World - "Bleed American": 9/11 sensitivity be damned; I will never call this album by it's amended title "Jimmy Eat World." Still their best CD.
39) Mr. Bungle - "California": Weird, but good.
40) Outkast - "Speakerboxx"
41) Outkast - "Love Below"
42) Led Zeppelin - "Early Days"
43) Led Zeppelin - "Latter Days": Lesser known songs than "Early Days," but I think it's the better of the two.
44) RX Bandits - "Progress": Their last punk-sounding album.
45) "Godspell: The Soundtrack": A holdover from being a theater kid in high school. Easily the worst CD I've listened to on this mission.
46) Big D And The Kids Table - "Good Luck": Ska!
47) Matisyahu - "Shake Off The Dust... Arise"
48) Audioslave - "Audioslave"
49) Incubus - "Morning View": The best songs were never released as singles ("Just A Phase," "Are You In?," "Aqueous Transmission").
50) The Killers - "Hot Fuss": I listened to this CD at least once a day for about two months after I got it. Now I hate it. Lesson learned.
51) Jane's Addiction - "Strays": Yes, there are more songs than the one used for the Entourage theme.
38) Jimmy Eat World - "Bleed American": 9/11 sensitivity be damned; I will never call this album by it's amended title "Jimmy Eat World." Still their best CD.

The Price is Exactly Right
Cool video from The Price is Right on Tuesday, in which some guy guesses the exact dollar amount of his Showcase Showdown. Notice host Drew Carey's lame response; apparently they stopped taping for about half an hour to check for cheating.

Song of the Day: The Asteroids Galaxy Tour - "Around the Bend"
If you watch TV, you've heard this song.

You did what in your pants?
Great SNL Digital Short from Andy Samberg, with appearances by Molly Sims, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and Justin Timberlake. Probably not appropriate for work...
Saved.... By.... Zero....
27) Foreigner- "Inside Information"
28) The Beatles - "1": I tried to watch the Beatles-inspired movie/musical "Across the Universe" the other day. Couldn't do it.
29) Korn - "Issues": Not quite as bad as I thought it would be, but tough to get through nonetheless. "Make Me Bad" still kicks ass.
30) The Offspring - "Americana": If I remember correctly, this was the first CD I ever purchased. Given some of the song titles - "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)," "She's Got Issues" - it's hard to believe this came out before The Offspring became obnoxious.
31) The Fixx - "Greatest Hits": As if I wasn't already sick of "Saved By Zero" from all those Toyota commercials.
32) Mix 1 (Summer 2004): Fatboy Slim, Jamiroquai, Phantom Planet...
33) Mix 7 (Summer 2007): Foo Fighters, The Almost...
34) Mix 8 (Fall 2007): Mickey Avalon, more Foo Fighters...
35) The Whigs - "Mission Control": If you like Southern-influenced indie rock, The Whigs are for you. If you're not sure, listen anyway.
36) Death From Above 1979 - "You're A Woman, I'm A Machine": I'd give my first-born to see these guys reunited in concert.
37) The Return - "Build Me A Reason": Along with DFA1979, definitely on my Top 5 list of bands I wish would get back together.
28) The Beatles - "1": I tried to watch the Beatles-inspired movie/musical "Across the Universe" the other day. Couldn't do it.

And finally...
Last thing for today: the first glimpse of Taylor Kitsch, aka Tim Riggins on "Friday Night Lights," as Gambit in the new "Wolverine" movie [via IESB.net.]
Hell yeah.
Hell yeah.
Song of the Day: Death Cab for Cutie - "Bixby Canyon Bridge"
Thought it might be cool to put up a new song each day. So here you go:
It's Tenacious D Time
23) Tenacious D - "Tenacious D": Ah, to be in high school again. Everyone will be happy to know that I sang along to the entire CD. "Now you're talking Double Team - Supreme!"
24) Cake - "Pressure Chief": I feel like no one even noticed when this album came out in 2004, which is a shame.
25) Dispatch - "Four-Day Trials"
26) Streetlight Manifesto - "Everything Goes Numb": Ska at its best and exhibit 'A' of the great CDs I never listen to. "Somewhere in the Between," which came out last year, is just as good and is worth a listen if you're a horn-lover like myself.
Tomorrow, I plan on taking the plunge back into the cesspool of middle school music. Yikes.
